REPRESENTASI BANGUN DATAR MELALUI DIAGRAM BATANG DAN DIAGRAM LINGKARAN BERBASIS ETNOMATEMATIKA

Abstract
Penelitian etnomatematika dalam pembelajaran matematika selama ini cenderung berfokus pada identifikasi unsur geometri dalam artefak budaya, namun belum banyak mengaitkannya dengan kemampuan representasi data, khususnya melalui diagram batang dan diagram lingkaran. Berdasarkan kesenjangan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kemampuan representasi matematis peserta didik dalam mengidentifikasi bangun datar dan menyajikan data berbasis objek budaya lokal. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan melibatkan 19 peserta didik kelas VII-A SMP Laboratorium Universitas Pattimura. LKPD dirancang secara kontekstual untuk mengetahui elemen arsitektural pada Mesjid Tua Wapauwe dan Gereja Tua Imanuel yang merepresentasikan bentuk bangun datar. Data dikumpulkan melalui LKPD, wawancara semi-terstruktur, serta dokumentasi foto. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik mampu mengidentifikasi 20 bentuk bangun datar, meliputi segiempat 9 (45%), lingkaran 6 (30%), segitiga 2 (10%), segienam 2 (10%), dan segilima 1 (5%). Peserta didik dapat menyajikan data temuan dalam bentuk diagram batang dan diagram lingkaran dengan benar, sehingga informasi geometri dapat ditampilkan kembali secara jelas dan terstruktur melalui representasi visual. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada pemanfaatan dua bangunan bersejarah dengan karakteristik geometri yang berbeda sebagai konteks pembelajaran, sehingga memberikan variasi bentuk bangun datar yang kaya dan belum banyak dieksplorasi sebelumnya. Temuan penelitian ini mendukung penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka melalui pembelajaran matematika yang kontekstual dan bermakna, serta memanfaatkan kearifan lokal budaya Maluku sebagai sumber belajar.
