DESKRIPSI SELF EFFICACY SISWA DALAM MEMECAHKAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA DITINJAU DARI ADVERSITY QUATIENT TIPE CLIMBER

Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan menggambarkan Self-efficacy siswa tipe climber dalam memecahkan masalah matematika. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah angket Self-efficacy, Angket Adversity Quotient, tes pemecahan masalah matematika, pedoman wawancara, dan catatan lapangan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA 1 dan XI MIPA 2 SMAN 5 Pinrang yang terdiri dari 2 orang siswa Climber. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara analisis tugas dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Self-efficacy siswa Climber dalam memecahkan masalah matematika cenderung sangat tinggi, Climber mampu memecahkan masalah matematika berdasarkan 4 indikator pemecahan masalah berdasarkan langkah Polya yaitu 1) memahami masalah, siswa Climber memahami masalah secara terpisah mampu menuliskan apa yang diketahui dan ditanyakan pada soal dan dapat memberikan respon secara tulisan ataupun lisan dengan jelas. 2) merencanakan penyelesaian masalah, siswa Climber tidak mudah menyerah dan yakin dengan kemampuannya dalam menyelesaikan masalah secara keseluruhan karena siswa Climber mampu menuliskan serta menjelaskan metode dan ide apa yang digunakan dalam perencanaan penyelesaian masalah pada soal. 3) melaksanakan rencana, siswa Climber mampu menganalisis suatu permasalahan berdasarkan informasi yang telah didapatkan dari soal sehingga dengan informasi tersebut dapat dengan mudah menyelesaikan masalah sesuai rencana secara keseluruhan dengan rasa optimis dan keyakinan yang kuat dalam menyelesaikan soal. 4) peninjauan Kembali, siswa Climber melakukan peninjauan kembali semua hasil dengan cara mengembalikan hasil yang diperoleh ke hal yang diketahui pada masalah dan merasa yakin dengan kebenaran jawaban akhir yang diperoleh disertai pembuktian.
