INTEGRASI MEDIA AI: STRATEGI INOVATIF UNTUK MENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP masih relatif rendah, terutama ketika menghadapi soal non-rutin, sehingga diperlukan pendekatan pembelajaran inovatif yang mendorong keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan quasi experimental design yang melibatkan siswa kelas VIII SMPN 6 Kota Cirebon, dengan kelas VIII A sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pemecahan masalah yang dikembangkan berdasarkan indikator Polya, terdiri dari lima butir soal yang telah divalidasi dengan reliabilitas tinggi dan tingkat kesukaran yang sesuai. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji-t independen. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa siswa pada kelompok eksperimen yang belajar melalui Problem-Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan kecerdasan buatan (AI) memperoleh skor posttest dan nilai N-Gain yang secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Kelas eksperimen menunjukkan tidak hanya pencapaian yang lebih baik, tetapi juga performa yang lebih konsisten. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa integrasi media AI ke dalam kerangka PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dalam pendidikan matematika abad ke-21.
