Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguraikan penerapan straretgi Krulik dan Rudnick pada proses pemecahan pasalah literasi numerasi geometri ruang siswa kelas VII. Jenis Penelitian ini mengaplikasikan deskriptif kualitatif. Prosedur penelitian ini terdiri dari tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, analisis data dan penyusunan hasil peneltian. Subjek penlitian ini merupakan siswa kelas VIII-2 dan VIII-6 di SMP Negeri 40 Makassar berjumlah 6 siswa yang masing-masing terdiri dari 2 siswa yang mewakili setiap tipe AQ. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa setiap tipe dari adversity quotient menunjukkan penerapan strategi krulik dan rudnick pada pemecahan masalah sangat variatif pada masalah literasi numerasi geometri ruang. Siswa quitter hanya mampu memenuhi indikator pertama pada pemecahan masalah walaupun tidak spesifik. Siswa camper mampu mencapai seluruh indikator pemecahan masalah krulik dan rudnick. Namun memilih menyerah pada indikator mencari jawaban disebabkan masalah yang dianggap sukar untuk diselesaikan dan ketidakyakinan atas penyelesaian masalah. Sedangkan siswa climber mampu memenuhi keseluruhan indikator pemecahan masalah dengan baik dan runtut.
