Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal pada materi geometri segiempat di tingkat SMP/MTs. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif menjadi salah satu keterampilan penting dalam pembelajaran matematika, terutama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 88 siswa kelas VIII Mts Manba’ul Ulum Asshiddiqiyah 10 Cianjur. yang dipilih secara purposif. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis masih tergolong rendah. Masih ada yang kesulitan mengembangkan ide atau menjelaskan alasan dari langkah penyelesaian mereka. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang mendorong eksplorasi ide dan pemecahan masalah terbuka untuk memperkuat kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa
