PENGARUH PENDEKATAN PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK (PMR) DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA CLASSPOINT DALAM MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh Pendekatan Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik (PMR) berbantuan media Classpoint dalam meningkatkan minat belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 17 Medan. Latar belakang penelitian didasari rendahnya minat belajar matematika siswa akibat persepsi negatif, kurangnya penguasaan materi, dan minimnya pemanfaatan teknologi. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain quasi-experiment dengan Pretest-Posttest Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Sampel terdiri dari 60 siswa (30 kelas eksperimen dan 30 kelas kontrol). Instrumen penelitian berupa angket minat belajar dengan skala Likert. Analisis data meliputi uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji-t independen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan minat belajar di kelas eksperimen (rata-rata 33,9) dibandingkan kelas kontrol (29,2), dengan selisih 4,7 poin (sig. 0,029 < 0,05). Pembahasan mengaitkan efektivitas PMR dengan menggunakan Classpoint melalui kontekstualisasi materi, interaktivitas media, dan kolaborasi siswa. Simpulan penelitian menyatakan bahwa integrasi PMR dengan media Classpoint efektif meningkatkan minat belajar matematika siswa. Disarankan pelatihan guru dalam penggunaan teknologi dan penelitian lanjutan dengan durasi lebih panjang.
