ANALISIS KESULITAN BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA TUNAGRAHITA

Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis secara lebih mendalam terkait kesulitan siswa ABK dalam mengerjakan soal matematika. Metode Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat naturalistik dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa tunagarahita kelas IX dari salah satu SMP Negeri di Jakarta. Kesulitan belajar siswa ditinjau dari empat aspek yaitu aspek tes asesmen, cara mengajar guru, cara belajar siswa, dan fasilitas belajar. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan observasi dan wawancara. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan model interaktif dari teori Miles dan Hubermann. Model ini melalui tiga tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada aspek tes asesmen terlihat bahwa subjek kesulitan untuk mencerna/berpikir setiap permasalahan yang diberikan; pada aspek cara mengajar guru, subjek merasa guru mentransfer ilmu dengan cara menyenangkan; pada aspek cara belajar siswa terlihat bahwa subjek tidak fokus ketika belajar dan subjek berpikir matematika adalah mata pelajaran yang sulit sehingga hal tersebut membuat subjek tidak fokus dari awal belajar matematika; pada aspek fasilitas belajar yaitu subjek tidak difasilitasi belajar dengan baik ketika di rumah.
