PENGEMBANGAN LITERASI MATEMATIS PADA KONTEKS MASJID RAYA AL-AZHOM UNTUK SISWA SMP

Abstract
Kurangnya minat baca masyarakat Indonesia adalah salah satu penyebab nilai literasi matematis PISA di Indonesia rendah. Pada tahun 2022, nilai literasi matematis siswa Indonesia masih jauh di bawah rata-rata nilai PISA. Dilakukannya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrument literasi matematis siswa berdasarkan level PISA pada tahun 2022 dalam upaya meningkatkan nilai PISA di Indonesia. Instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan konteks budaya, yakni Masjid Raya Al-Azhom Tangerang. Instrument diuji pada siswa kelas 8 SMPN 1 Rajeg dengan subyek yakni 5 kelas. Subyek penelitian melewati beberapa tahap penelitian, yakni one-to-one, small group, dan field test untuk menilai dampak potensial pada instrumen. Instrumen diuji oleh 4 ahli untuk menghasilkan instrument yang valid dan reliabel. Validasi diuji menggunakan validitas Aiken dan reliabilitas menggunakan metode tes-retest yang diuji menggunakan metode Pearson. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para siswa telah memiliki beberapa dampak potensial pada level PISA, yakni memahami informasi yang terdapat pada literasi matematis. Namun, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa belum dapat mengklasifikasikan bilangan desimal berdasarkan urutan kecil—besar atau sebaliknya serta minimnya pengetahuan para siswa mengenai rumus-rumus sederhana untuk diaplikasikan pada masalah sehari-hari. Penelitian pengembangan ini menghasilkan 8 (delapan) isntrumen literasi matematis menggunakan konteks Masjid Raya Al-Azhom yang memiliki nilai validitas 0,8 dengan kategori tinggi dan nilai reliabilitas sebesar 0,91 dengan kategori korelasi tinggi.
