PENGEMBANGAN INSTRUMEN TES MODEL PISA PADA KONTEN CHANGE AND RELATIONSHIP UNTUK MENGUKUR KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS SISWA
Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini agar memperoleh instrumen tes model PISA pada konten change and relationship yang valid dan praktis. Instrumen tes dikembangkan untuk mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian pengembangan Tessmer tipe formative evaluation. Terdiri atas dua tahapan yaitu: (1) preliminary, dan (2) formative evaluation (self-evaluation dan prototyping). Prototyping terdiri atas expert reviews, one-to-one, small group, dan field test. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII-10 SMP Negeri 20 Medan sebanyak 30 orang. Objek penelitian adalah instrumen tes model PISA pada konten change and relationship untuk mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa telah diperoleh instrumen tes model PISA pada konten change and relationship untuk mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang valid dan praktis. Valid diperoleh berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli yang menerangkan “instrumen tes dapat digunkan” dan analisis validitas butir soal, analisis daya pembeda dan indeks kesukaran pada kriteria “baik”. Praktis diperoleh berlandaskan penilaian ahli, angket respon guru dan angket respon siswa. Rata-rata hasil angket respon guru sebesar 80,53% dengan kategori “praktis”, sedangkan rata-rata angket respon siswa sebesar 61,87% dengan kategori “praktis”. Kemudian diperoleh rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas VIII-10 sebesar 40,10 dengan kategori “rendah”.
