PROFIL KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF MATEMATIS MAHASISWA TINGKAT 1 TEKNIK MESIN PADA MATERI BANGUN RUANG
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil keterampilan berpikir kreatif matematis mahasiswa tingkat 1 Diploma 3 dalam menyelesaikan soal open ended materi bangun ruang. Indikator kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis yang digunakan, yaitu kelancaran (fluency), keluwesan (flexibility), keterincian (elaboration), dan kebaruan/ keaslian (originality). Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian nampak bahwa indikator keterampilan berpikir kreatif kelancaran (fluency) dan keterincian (elaboration) baik pada soal nomor 1 maupun soal nomor 2. Namun untuk indikator keluwesan (flexibility) tidak bisa ditunjukkan oleh subjek 2 (S2) pada soal nomor 1. Dari hasil analisis yang dilakukan, diperoleh juga informasi bahwa baik S1 maupun S2 tidak bisa menunjukkan indikator keterampilan berpikir kreatif matematis kebaruan (originality). Diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut yang mampu meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif matematis khususnya pada indikator kebaruan (originality) dengan membiasakan peserta didiknya melalui tugas tugas yang bersifat open ended.
