Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran role play berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan bercerita siswa Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Unggulan Harith Foundation Kota Palopo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen. Uji-t pada data pre-test menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kelompok eksperimen adalah 18,94, sedangkan rata-rata kelompok kontrol adalah 18.500. Data ini menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan 0,44 antara kedua kelompok.. Ada perbedaan 0,96 antara kelompok. Uji T menunjukkan bahwa thitung > ttabel (3,264 > 2,353). Oleh karena itu, ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Temuan yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara keterampilan bercerita pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol.keterampilan bercerita pada siswa Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Unggulan Harith Foundation dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran bermain peran dan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan secara tradisional. Model pembelajaran bermain peran lebih efektif daripada pembelajaran konvensional. Model pembelajaran bermain peran ini juga menjadikan siswa lebih senang, dan lebih percaya diri.
