Pengaruh Evaluasi Pembelajaran terhadap Peningkatan Kompetensi Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Urgensi penelitian ini terletak pada pentingnya evaluasi pembelajaran yang efektif sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan pendidikan guna meningkatkan kualitas kompetensi siswa sekolah dasar secara menyeluruh, baik pada aspek kognitif, afektif, maupun psikomotorik di era pembelajaran yang menuntut peningkatan mutu pendidikan secara berkelanjutan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat hubungan antara evaluasi pembelajaran dan kompetensi siswa melalui analisis korelasi serta besarnya kontribusi evaluasi pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kompetensi siswa melalui analisis regresi linear sederhana. Pendekatan kuantitatif diaplikasikan dalam riset ini, dengan metode survei sebagai pilihan. Pemilihan subjek penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yang mana siswa menjadi objek pengamatan. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya serta didukung oleh dokumentasi. Uji validitas instrumen menggunakan korelasi product moment menunjukkan bahwa seluruh item memiliki nilai r hitung lebih besar dari r tabel (0,361), sehingga seluruh butir pernyataan dinyatakan valid. Hasil uji reliabilitas menunjukkan nilai Cronbach Alpha sebesar 0,87 untuk variabel evaluasi pembelajaran dan 0,89 untuk variabel kompetensi siswa, sehingga instrumen dinyatakan reliabel. Untuk menganalisis data, digunakan teknik regresi linear sederhana guna menelaah korelasi serta efek antara variabel penilaian pembelajaran dan kompetensi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara evaluasi pembelajaran dengan kompetensi siswa dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0,743 yang termasuk kategori kuat, serta nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,552. Hasil uji t menunjukkan nilai t hitung sebesar 5,876 lebih besar dari t tabel 2,048 dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Hal ini menyiratkan bahwa penerapan penilaian pembelajaran yang terstruktur dan berkesinambungan mampu menaikkan mutu luaran pembelajaran siswa. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin optimal pelaksanaan penilaian pembelajaran, semakin tinggi pula tingkat kompetensi siswa yang diraih. Oleh karena itu, para pendidik disarankan untuk merancang dan mengeksekusi penilaian pembelajaran secara efisien demi memaksimalkan peningkatan kompetensi peserta didik.
