Implementasi Metode Game-Based Learning dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar PAI pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Urgensi penelitian ini adalah rendahnya motivasi belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) pada siswa sekolah dasar sehingga diperlukan penerapan metode Game-Based Learning untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih menarik, interaktif, dan efektif. Rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di sekolah dasar masih menjadi permasalahan yang cukup krusial, terutama akibat dominannya pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional yang kurang mampu mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa. Kondisi ini menuntut adanya inovasi pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan menyenangkan, salah satunya melalui penerapan metode Game-Based Learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan metode Game-Based Learning terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu menggunakan pola one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas siswa sekolah dasar yang dipilih secara purposive. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket motivasi belajar yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, serta didukung oleh observasi selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan uji inferensial berupa paired sample t-test setelah memenuhi uji prasyarat normalitas. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan Game-Based Learning efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa serta mampu menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, menyenangkan, dan mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di UPT SD 44 Sarappo Keke, Kabupaten Pangkep
