Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas perkuliahan online menggunakan Google Classroom pada mata kuliah Biologi Molekuler. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pre-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi semester V yang berjumlah 49 orang. Adapun sampel dalam penelitian adalah mahasiswa kelas 5B yang berjumlah 22 orang. Hasil uji statistik deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa sebelum dan setelah perkuliahan online menggunakan aplikasi Google Classroom. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari rata-rata nilai pretest yaitu 64.91 yang berada pada kategori rendah dan mengalami peningkatan pada posttest dengan nilai rata-rata 86.68 yang berada pada kategori tinggi. Hasil uji statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan uji hipotesis paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000<0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi Google Classroom efektif digunakan sebagai media perkuliahan online pada mata kuliah Biologi Molekuler.
