Optimasi Produksi Telur Gallus hallus domestica dengan Serbuk Curcuma longa L. Sebelum Masak Kelamin

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh pemberian serbuk kunyit sebelum masak kelamin terhadap produksi telur pada ayam kampung (Gallus gallus domesticus). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan melibatkan 45 ekor ayam kampung betina yang dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok perlakuan. Pengukuran jumlah telur dilakukan setiap hari dan diakumulasikan setiap bulan selama 28 hari untuk mengevaluasi perubahan dalam produksi telur. Hasil analisis yang dilakukan menggunakan metode ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa pemberian serbuk kunyit memiliki dampak signifikan (P<0.05) terhadap peningkatan jumlah telur yang dihasilkan oleh ayam kampung setiap bulan. Semakin tinggi dosis serbuk kunyit yang diberikan, khususnya pada dosis 324 mg/ekor/hari, semakin banyak jumlah telur yang dihasilkan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa serbuk kunyit dapat berfungsi sebagai suplemen yang efektif dalam meningkatkan produktivitas telur pada ayam kampung. Hal ini memberikan implikasi penting dalam manajemen peternakan, menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan kunyit dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan produktivitas hewan, serta potensial meningkatkan efisiensi produksi telur secara keseluruhan.
