PERBANDINGAN BAKTERI Pseudomonas putida DAN Bacillus cereus DALAM MENURUNKAN KADAR COD BOD PADA LIMBAH CAIR PABRIK KELAPA SAWIT

Limbah cair kelapa sawit memiliki potensi sebagai bahan pencemar lingkungan karena memiliki kandungan Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) dan padatan tersuspensi yang tinggi sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya pencemaran yang dapat menurunkan kualitas suatu perairan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Untuk Mengetahui Penurunan Kadar Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) dan Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) dengan Penambahan Bakteri Pseudomonas putida dan Bakteri Bacillus cereus Pada Limbah Cair Pabrik Kelapa Sawit. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan data deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian kuantitatif dilakukan dengan menguji kadar COD dan BOD menggunakan Metode SNI-6989.2-2019.Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penambahan bakteri Pseudomonas putida mampu menurunkan Kadar COD tertinggi sebesar 39.050mg/l dengan persentase penurunan 49.44% dibandingkan bakteri Bacillus cereus hanya mampu menurunkan kadar COD Sebesar 39.825mg/l dengan persentase penurunan 48.44%. Dan hasil penelitian menunjukkan Penambahan bakteri Pseudomonas putida mampu menurunkan Kadar BOD tertinggi sebesar 414.5 mg/l dengan persentase penurunan 97.92% dibandingkan bakteri Bacillus cereus hanya mampu menurunkan kadar BOD Sebesar 503.5 mg/l dengan persentase penurunan 97.48%
