Pengaruh Pemberian Kompos Berbahan Dasar Limbah Diapers (Popok Sekali Pakai) terhadap Pertumbuhan Tanaman Pacar Air (Impatiens balsamina L.)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kompos berbahan dasar diapers (popok sekali pakai) terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman pacar air (Impatiens balsamina L.). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan dan 1 kontrol/tanpa perlakuan (P0) dengan masing-masing perlakuan sebanyak 3 kali ulangan. Perlakuan 1 (P1) dengan komposisi ¼ kompos diapers + ¾ media tanah; perlakuan 2 (P2) dengan komposisi ½ kompos diapers + ½ media tanah; perlakuan 3 (P3) dengan komposisi ¾ kompos diapers + ¼ media tanah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan pemberian kompos berbahan diapers terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman pacar air dengan nilai signifikansi (Sig.) untuk pertambahan tinggi tanaman sebesar 0.108 >  0.05 dan nilai signifikansi (Sig.) untuk pertambahan jumlah daun sebesar 0.221 > 0.05. Meskipun demikian, media tanam yang paling efektif untuk pertumbuhan tanaman pacar air adalah pada perlakuan P3 dengan komposisi ¾ kompos diapers dan ¼ media tanah.
