Efektivitas Penggunaan Video Animasi Dalam Pembelajaran Matematika di Sekolah Menengah Pertama

Penelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan menggunakan video animasi dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest nonrandomized control group design. Populasi penelitian siswa SMP Negeri 26 Makassar pada tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling dan diperoleh kelas eksperimen penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII.6 yang diberikan perlakuan menggunakan video animasi dalam pembelajaran matematika, kelas kontrol yaitu kelas VIII.7 dengan perlakuan yang tidak menggunakan video animasi dalam pembelajaran matematika. Data diolah dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata posttest siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 75,77 (kategori tinggi) dan nilai rata-rata posttest siswa kelas kontrol adalah 55,39 (kategori rendah). Hasil analisis statistik inferensial menunjukkan rata-rata n-gain hasil belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori minimal sedang, rata-rata n-gain hasil belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari rata-rata n-gain hasil belajar siswa di kelas kontrol, dan rata-rata respons siswa di kelas eksperimen lebih positif dari rata-rata respons siswa di kelas kontrol. Ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan video animasi efektif dalam pembelajaran matematika.
