Implementasi Pendidikan Karakter Dalam Pembelajaran Matematika di Sekolah Menengah Pertama

Pendidikan karakter diperkuat oleh pemerintah melalui integrasi ke dalam berbagi mata pelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya guru mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter ke dalam proses pembelajaran matematika pada kelas VIII SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus yang bersifat deskriptif. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah seorang guru matematika kelas VIII SMP. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Selanjutnya, data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif pada saat mengkondensasi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru telah mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter pada: (1) tahap perencanaan yang mencakup penyusunan silabus dan rencana pembelajaran; (2) tahap pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang mencakup kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup; dan (3) tahap evaluasi yang mencakup penilaian pada aspek sikap siswa, aspek pengetahuan siswa, dan keterampilan.
