Pemanfaatan GeoGebra dalam Pembelajaran Geometri Analitik untuk Meningkatkan Visualisasi dan Pemahaman Konseptual Mahasiswa

Pembelajaran geometri analitik menuntut kemampuan visualisasi matematis dan pemahaman konseptual yang tinggi. Namun, dalam praktiknya mahasiswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menghubungkan representasi aljabar dengan bentuk geometris secara visual, seperti menentukan bentuk grafik berdasarkan persamaan garis dan kurva pada bidang koordinat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas pemanfaatan GeoGebra dalam pembelajaran geometri analitik terhadap peningkatan kemampuan visualisasi matematis dan pemahaman konseptual mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuasi-eksperimen dengan desain pretest–posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 60 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika yang dibagi ke dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok eksperimen memperoleh pembelajaran geometri analitik berbantuan GeoGebra, sedangkan kelompok kontrol memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes kemampuan visualisasi matematis dan tes pemahaman konseptual. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji N-Gain dan uji perbedaan rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan visualisasi matematis dan pemahaman konseptual mahasiswa pada kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa GeoGebra efektif digunakan untuk membantu mahasiswa memahami hubungan antara persamaan matematika dan representasi geometris secara lebih visual dan interaktif. Oleh karena itu, pemanfaatan GeoGebra secara sistematis direkomendasikan dalam pembelajaran geometri analitik di perguruan tinggi guna mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna.
