Abstract. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade III A students of SD Negeri Salatiga 02 as seen from the difference in the average pretest and posttest. This type of research is pre-experimental with the dependent variable is mathematics learning outcomes and the independent variable is the Numbered Head Together (NHT) Cooperative learning model. This study uses the One-Group Pretest Posttest Design. The research subjects were 28 students, 16 female and 12 males. The data collected from the pretest and posttest results were t-test assisted by SPSS Windows Version 21.00. Then look for the level of significance or probability [Sig.(2-tailed)] with = 0.05 and analyze tcount by looking for ttable using Table t. The results showed that the Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model was effective on the mathematics learning outcomes of class III A students at SD Negeri Salatiga 02. The Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model was said to be effective because there was an average difference between the pretest scores of 50.00 and the posttest is 68.30. This is reinforced by the results of the significance or probability of 0.05 > 0.000 and the t arithmetic difference test is greater than t table (-2.733 > 1.703).Downloads
