Pengembangan Media Digital Flipbook Berbasis Project Based Learning (PJBL) pada Materi Isu-Isu Lingkungan untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Siswa Kelas IX SMP

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi pembelajaran IPA di SMP Tahfidz Al-Azhar yang masih cenderung berpusat pada guru, penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi, serta rendahnya keterlibatan siswa dalam memahami materi isu-isu lingkungan. Materi ini bersifat kompleks dan kontekstual, sehingga membutuhkan media pembelajaran yang mampu menghubungkan konsep IPA dengan permasalahan nyata di sekitar siswa. Penelitian terdahulu telah menunjukkan manfaat Project Based Learning (PjBL) dan media digital secara terpisah, tetapi pengembangan media digital flipbook yang secara khusus mengintegrasikan sintaks PjBL pada materi isu-isu lingkungan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media digital flipbook berbasis PjBL serta menguji validitas, respon siswa, dan efektivitasnya terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa kelas IX SMP. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri atas tahap analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 siswa kelas IX SMP Tahfidz Al-Azhar. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi ahli, angket respon siswa, serta tes pemahaman konsep berupa pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media memperoleh rata-rata validasi sebesar 93,54% dengan kategori sangat valid. Respon siswa terhadap media memperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 84% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil pretest dan posttest menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 40,35 menjadi 67,40. Uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, sedangkan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,45 berada pada kategori sedang. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media digital flipbook berbasis PjBL layak digunakan, mendapat respon positif dari siswa, dan memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep, meskipun efektivitasnya belum optimal. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk menguji media pada sampel yang lebih luas, sekolah yang berbeda, serta materi IPA lainnya
