Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Investigation-Based Multiple Representation (IBMR) Berbantuan Curipod terhadap Kemampuan Multi Representasi Peserta Didik pada Materi Gerak Lurus

Urgensi dalam penelitian ini terlihat dari bagaimana kemampuan multi representasi peserta didik pada materi gerak lurus di SMA Negeri 6 Tasikmalaya masih tergolong rendah, yang ditandai oleh terbatasnya variasi latihan soal yang menuntut transformasi informasi antar bentuk representasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Investigation-Based Multiple Representation (IBMR) berbantuan Curipod terhadap kemampuan multi representasi peserta didik pada materi gerak lurus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes esai dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen dan desain posttest-only control group. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Tasikmalaya yang terdiri atas 12 kelas dengan total 548 peserta didik. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu kelas eksperimen sebanyak 42 peserta didik dan kelas kontrol sebanyak 48 peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes esai sebanyak 11 butir soal yang mencakup enam bentuk representasi. Uji normalitas dilakukan menggunakan Chi-kuadrat dan uji homogenitas menggunakan uji Fisher pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai |Z hitung| sebesar 3,362 lebih besar dari Z tabel sebesar 1,959 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05, sehingga H₀ ditolak dan Hₐ diterima. Dengan demikian, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari model pembelajaran IBMR berbantuan Curipod terhadap kemampuan multi representasi peserta didik pada materi gerak lurus.
