This study aimed to describe the perceptions of Biology Education students at Muhammadiyah University of Luwuk regarding the implementation of laboratory practicum activities and practicum report writing. A quantitative descriptive research design was employed using a total sampling technique involving 75 students from the second, fourth, and sixth semesters. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been confirmed to be valid and reliable (Cronbach’s alpha = 0.826). The data were analyzed descriptively using mean scores and score interpretation categories. The results revealed that students’ perceptions of laboratory practicum implementation yielded a mean score of 2.70, while perceptions of practicum report writing yielded a mean score of 2.77, both categorized as positive. Overall, the students’ perceptions recorded a mean score of 2.80. Students in the sixth semester demonstrated the highest perception scores compared to those in lower semesters. These findings indicate that laboratory practicum activities and practicum report writing were perceived positively by students and contributed to supporting the learning process in Biology Education.
