Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang memiliki keanekaragaman hayati yang tinggi, baik flora maupun fauna yang tersebar di berbagai wilayah. Dari sekian banyak tumbuhan yang dapat tumbuh di Indonesia banyak di antaranya terdapat di lingkungan sekitar kita seperti pekarangan rumah penduduk. Tumbuhan berbiji (Spermatophyta) adalah jenis tumbuhan yang biasa kita jumpai di pekarangan rumah.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui jenis tumbuhan berbiji (Spermatophyta) yang terdapat di pekarangan rumah masyarakat Kelurahan Batangmata, Kecamatan Bontomatene, Kabupaten Kepulauan Selayar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif menggunakan metode eksplorasi yang dilakukan dengan menulusuri wilayah pekarangan rumah yang dapat ditemukan tumbuhan berbiji (Spermatophyta). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tumbuhan berbiji (Spermatophyta) yang berhasil di idenitifkasi berjumlah 131 species yang terdiri dari 59 familia. Gymnospermae terdiri atas 3 spesies dan 128 spesies dari Angiospermae yang terdiri dari 35 spesies monokotil (Liliopsida) dan 93 spesies dikotil (Magnoliopsida).
Abstract
Indonesia is a country that has high biodiversity, both flora and fauna which are scattered in various regions. Of the many plants that can grow in Indonesia, many of them are found in the environment around us, such as the yards of people's houses. Seed plants (Spermatophyta) are types of plants that we usually encounter in the yard of the house. The aim of this study was to determine the types of seed plants (Spermatophyta) found in the yards of the people's houses in Batangmata Village, Bontomatene District, Selayar Islands Regency. This research is a descriptive study using the exploratory method which is carried out by exploring the area of the house yard where seed plants (Spermatophyta) can be found. The results showed that the identified seed plants (Spermatophyta) totaled 131 species consisting of 59 families. Gymnosperms consist of 3 species and 128 species of Angiosperms consisting of 35 species of monocots (Liliopsida) and 93 species of dicots (Magnoliopsida).
