Keanekaragaman Kupu-kupu (Subordo: Rhopalocera) Di Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon

Studi ini bermaksud mengetahui keanekaragaman kupu-kupu (Subordo: Rhopalocera) di Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon (TNUK). Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada 4 stasiun yaitu Pulau Peucang, Pulau Handeleum, Cigenter dan Cidaon. Studi ini dilaksanakan pada Mei – Juni 2021. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode jelajah (pollard walk) serta menggunakan teknik sweeping net untuk menangkap sampel yang berada di area penelitian. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dua sesi yaitu 08.00 – 11.00 WIB dan 14.00 – 16.00 WIB. Data dijabarkan dengan indeks keanekaragaman Shanon-Wiener, indeks kemerataan jenis, dan indeks dominansi Simpson. Hasil studi mengungkapkan total kupu-kupu yang dijumpai sebanyak 23 jenis yang terdiri dari lima famili. Stasiun 3 Cigenter memiliki nilai indeks keanekaragaman jenis kupu-kupu tertinggi (H'= 2,86), dan nilai indeks keanekaragaman terendah terdapat di stasiun 1 Pulau Peucang (H'= 1,91). Keanekaragaman jenis kupu-kupu di Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon tergolong sedang dengan nilai indeks keanekaragaman sebesar 2,37.
