Pengaruh Implementasi Pjbl Berbasis Steam dalam Proyek Make Craft With 3r (Reduce, Recycle, Reuse) terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Kelas VII Smp Negeri 1 Pangsid

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Project-Based Learning (PjBL) dengan pendekatan STEAM terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VII UPT SMP Negeri 1 Pangsid. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimental dengan desain one group pretest–posttest. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII UPT SMP Negeri 1 Pangsid pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII.7 yang dipilih menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis. Data observasi dianalisis menggunakan persentase, sedangkan data kemampuan berpikir kritis dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran berada pada kategori terlaksana dengan baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa mengalami peningkatan dari 29,94 pada pretest menjadi 83,00 pada posttest. Ketuntasan klasikal kemampuan berpikir kritis tercapai sebesar 80,65%. Nilai rata-rata gain ternormalisasi kemampuan berpikir kritis sebesar 0,75 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik inferensial, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model PjBL dengan pendekatan STEAM berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.
