Eksplorasi Etnomatematika pada Kearifan Lokal Kerajinan Bokoa Iben Masyarakat Lebong Sebagai Sumber Belajar Literasi Numerasi di Sekolah Dasar

Kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa sekolah dasar di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah. Salah satunya karena pembelajaran matematika umumnya belum dikaitkan dengan konteks budaya yang dekat dengan kehidupan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi konsep-konsep etnomatematika yang terkandung dalam kearifan lokal kerajinan Bokoa Iben masyarakat Lebong Suku Rejang serta menganalisis potensinya sebagai sumber belajar literasi numerasi di sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan pengrajin lokal, dokumentasi proses pembuatan Bokoa Iben, serta kajian pustaka terkait nilai-nilai matematis dalam budaya tradisional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam proses pembuatan Bokoa Iben terdapat konsep-konsep matematika seperti pola berulang, simetri lipat, pengukuran, dan bangun datar dan bangun ruang yang dapat diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran literasi numerasi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa aktivitas budaya masyarakat Lebong tidak hanya bernilai estetis, tetapi juga memiliki potensi edukatif yang relevan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep literasi numerasi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa kerajinan Bokoa Iben dapat dijadikan sumber belajar yang memperkuat literasi numerasi sekaligus menumbuhkan kesadaran peserta didik terhadap pentingnya pelestarian kearifan lokal.Downloads
