Analisis Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematika Peserta Didik Pada Mateti Bilangan Bulat di Kelas VII SMP Negeri 11 Kota Gorontalo

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskiptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif untuk menganalisis pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik pada materi bilangan bulat. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 11 Kota Gorontalo dengan melibatkan 28 peserta didik sebagai objek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes pemahaman konsep dan wawancara. Indikator yang digunakan untuk mengambarkan pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik antara lain: (1) Mengklasifikasi objek-objek menurut sifat-sifat tertentu (2) Memberikan contoh dari konsep, (3) Menggunakan, memanfaatkan, dan memilih prosedur atau operasi tertentu, (4) Mengaplikasikan konsep pemecahan masalah. Selanjutnya dilakukan wawancara untuk memperdalam informasi mengenai pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik dengan kategori tingi sebesar 18%, kategori sedang sebesar 68%, dan kategori rendah sebesar 14%. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik pada materi operasi bilangan bulat tergolong sedang, yang ditunjukan dengan kemampuan peserta didik yang hanya memenuhi sebagian indikator pemahaman konsep matematika yang diukur.
