Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw Berbantuan Geogebra sebagai Upaya Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Siswa
Abstract
Matematika merupakan bidang ilmu yang mempelajari berpikir logis, penalaran, deduksi, dan pemecahan masalah dalam kehidupan nyata. Kurikulum pendidikan di Indonesia dan National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) menekankan pentingnya kemampuan memecahkan permaslahan. Namun, data di lapangan mengilustrasikan keterampilan pemecahan masalah murid cukup rendah, terutama berpatokan pada PISA (Program for International Student Assessment). Melalui observasi awal dan tes diagnostik yang dibagikan pada siswa kelas XI MIPA-1 SMAS Eria Medan, diperoleh nilai rata-rata tes adalah 48,53 dari skala 100. Riset ini berguna dalam melihat peningkatan kemampuan memecahkan permasalahan murid dengan implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dengan berbantuan software Geogebra pada subjek yang sama, sebanyak 30 orang dengan materi limit dan turunan fungsi. Jenis riset yang diselenggarakan ialah penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik mengumpulkan sejumlah informasi meliputi tes dan observasi. Pengolahan data memakai strategi Miles dan Huberman yang mencakup reduksi fakta, paparan fakta, dan penciptaan simpulan. Perolehan riset yang ditemukan yakni rerata kelas pada tes kemampuan memecahkan permasalahan siklus pertama senilai 84,8, dimana 17 siswa tergolong memiliki kemampuan paling tinggi, 4 murid memiliki golongan tinggi, 6 murid dengan golongan sedang, 1 murid pada golongan rendah, dan 2 murid pada golongan paling rendah. Ketika siklus kedua, rerata poin tes murid senilai 96,93, yakni 27 siswa memiliki kemampuan sangat tinggi, 3 siswa termasuk kriteria tinggi, dan tidak satupun siswa dalam kriteria sedang hingga sangat rendah.
