Efektivitas Model Problem Based Learning berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching untuk meningkatkan Kemampuan Literasi Matematis

Penelitian ini didorong oleh minimnya tingkat literasi matematis siswa, terutama dalam mencari solusi dari teks narqatif yang terkait dengan kehidupan sehari-hari yang berkenaan dengan budaya lokal. Dengan demikian, perlu adanya terobosan pembelajaran yang bisa meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa, misalnya melalui pendekatan PBL yang terintegrasi dengan pengajaran yang responsif terhadap Budaya. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model PBL berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematis. Penelitian ini memakai metode kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental dimana peneliti hanya memiliki kelas perlakuan dan tidak memiliki kelas pembanding. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI TTL 1 di SMNK N 7 Semarang. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Pembelajaran dengan memakai model PBL berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching mencapai KKM, 2) Adanya peningkatan hasil belajar kemampuan literasi matematis sebelum dan sesudah di beri perlakuan, dan 3) Kemampuan literasi matematis siswa dengan model PBL berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching lebih baik dari pada dengan model PBL saja.
