Analisis Etnomatematika Anyaman Kiding di Jangkat sebagai Bahan Belajar Matematika
Abstract
Abstrak. Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh banyak nya guru dalam mengajarkan matematika masih menggunakan media bantu yang sulit di pahami siswa dikarenakan media yang digunakan tidak berada disekitar siswa. Sementara itu, setiap daerah memeiliki budaya masing masing begitu juga di daerah jangkat kabupaten merangin provinsi jambi, Dimana disana terdapat budaya yang menarik Ketika Masyarakat menggunakan kidding dalam setiap kegiatan budaya yang dilakukan. Kerajinan kidding ini dapat jadi sumber belajar siswa dalam memahami matematika menjadi lebih mudah dan menarik. Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk memahami dan menganalisis aspek matematika pada kerajinan kiding untuk pembelajaran matematika serta hubungan antara etnomatematika dan kidding yang berada di jangkat dapat dijadikan sumber belajar matematika. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap produk dan pengerajin kidding di jangkat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada tiga aspek kerajinan kidding jangkat yang dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar matematika: meliputi berhitung, mengukur, dan menjelaskan beberapa topik seperti Luas permukaan tabung, Volume bangun ruang 3 dimensi, Pola dan barisan bilangan
