PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM POSING DAN DIRECT INSTRUCTION DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH PADA SEKOLAH DASAR

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pada permasalahan rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Sebagai alternatif dari permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan penelitian dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Posing dan Direct Instruction dalam pembelajaran matematika. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran Problem Posing dan Direct Instruction. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN 03 Widoro di Wonogiri. Sampel dipilih berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling, dan diperoleh dua kelas sebagai sampel penelitian. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis secara statistik diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran Problem Posing lebih baik dari model pembelajaran Direct Instruction.References
