Achieving sustainable food self-sufficiency requires the implementation of efficient agricultural technologies based on local resources. Hydroponic cultivation is a promising alternative for high-yield production in limited land areas; however, its dependence on synthetic nutrients such as AB Mix increases production costs. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of Microbial Potassium Phosphate Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF MKP) as a partial substitution for AB Mix on the response of hydroponic pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) and to determine the most effective combination of nutrient doses in supporting nutrient efficiency and crop productivity. The experiment was using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three treatments: 100% AB Mix (5 ml/L), 3 ml AB Mix + 20 ml LOF MKP, and 3 ml AB Mix + 30 ml LOF MKP, each with six replications. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a 5% significance level. The results indicated that LOF MKP significantly affected the plant response and yield parameters. The treatment of 3 ml AB Mix + 20 ml LOF MKP produced growth and yield comparable to the control, improving nutrient efficiency by up to 40%. These findings suggest that LOF MKP can be developed as a locally sourced organic nutrient for sustainable hydroponic systems supporting national food self-sufficiency.
