Pengaplikasian Jarak Tanam dan Waktu Penyiangan Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Terung (Solanum melongena L.)

Abstract
Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi jarak tanam dengan waktu penyiangan terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terung. Penelitian ini berlangsung dari September 2020 sampai Februari 2021 di Desa Palopo Kecamatan Marisa Kabupaten Pohuwato. Penelitian ini menggunakan Faktorial Dua Faktor dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok yang terdiri dari faktor pertama berupa jarak tanam terdiri dari dua taraf yaitu jarak tanam 60 x 70 cm (J1) dan jarak tanam 60 x 80 cm (J2) dan faktor kedua berupa penyiangan terdiri dari tiga taraf yaitu tanpa penyiangan (Y0), penyiangan setiap dua minggu (Y1), dan penyiangan setiap empat minggu (Y2) diulang sebanyak tiga kali. Perlakuan J1 memberikan hasil terbaik pada parameter jumlah buah terung (1,898 buah) dan berat buah (202,019 gr). Sedangkan perlakuan Y1 memberikan hasil terbaik pada parameter tinggi tanaman (56,250 cm), jumlah buah (2,139 buah), dan berat buah (193,425 gr).
The research aims to determine the effect of the combination of plant spacingand weeding time on the growth and yield of eggplants. This research took place from September 2020 to February 2021 in Palopo Village, Marisa District, Pohuwato Regency. This research used a two-factorial factor in randomized block design consisting of the first factor in the form of plant distance consisting of two levels, namely plant distance of 60 x 70 cm (J1) and plant spacing of 60 x 80 cm (J2) and the second factor, which was weeding with three levels, namely no weeding (Y0), weeding every two weeks (Y1), and weeding every four weeks (Y2) repeated three times. The treatment J1produced the best results on the parameters of number of eggplant fruit (1,898 fruit) and fruit weight (202,019 gr). Meanwhile, the Y1 treatment produced the best results on the parameters of plant height (56,250 cm), number of fruit (2,139 fruit) and fruit weight (194,425 gr).
