Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Pakcoy (Brassica rapa) dengan Sistem Hidroponik dalam Ember Pemeliharaan Ikan Lele (Clarias)
Growth and Production of Pakcoy (Brassica rapa) Plants with Hydroponic Systems in Catfish Rearing Buckets (Clarias)
Abstract
Pakcoy adalah salah satu jenis sayuran mengandung vitamin dan mineral yang tinggi. Selain itu tanaman pakcoy juga memiliki zat besi yang tinggi. Namun kegagalan untuk memperoleh hasil tanaman pakcoy masing sangat sering mengalami kegagalan, hal ini disebabkan beberapa faktor. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi adalah ketersediaan unsur hara untuk mendukung pertumbuhan pada tanaman pakcoy. Salah satu teknik yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan produksi pakcoy adalah dengan menggunakan teknik hidroponik. Teknik ini memungkinkan dapat memadukan antara budidaya ikan dan budidaya tanaman secara bersamaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok yang terdiri dari beberapa perlakuan yaitu I0 : kontrol (tidak ada ikan lele); I1 : Ikan lele sebanyak 10 ekor/ember; I2 : Ikan lele sebanyak 20 ekor/ember dan I3 : Ikan lele sebanyak 30 ekor/ember. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan kepadatan ikan lele memberikan pengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman pakcoy. Perlakuan I3 dengan kepadatan 30 ekor per ember merupakan perlakuan yang terbaik dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya.
Pakcoy is one type of vegetable containing high vitamins and minerals. In addition, pakcoy plants also have high iron. However, failure to obtain the results of each pakcoy plant is very often a failure, this is due to several factors. One of the influencing factors is the availability of nutrients to support growth in pakcoy plants. One technique that can improve the quality and production of pakcoy is to use hydroponic techniques. This technique allows combining fish farming and plant farming simultaneously. This study used a Group Randomized Design consisting of several treatments, namely I0: control (no catfish); I1 : Catfish as many as 10 heads / bucket; I2 : Catfish as many as 20 heads/bucket and I3: Catfish as many as 30 heads/bucket. The results showed that catfish density treatment had an influence on the growth of pakcoy plants. I3 treatment with a density of 30 heads per bucket is the best treatment compared to other treatments.
