Representasi dan Relevansi Nilai Sosial dalam Cerpen Bali Modern Gita Kauripan: Kajian Sosiologi Sastra

Abstract
Dalam Cerpen Gita Kauripan, cerpen Bali kontemporer yang ditulis oleh Ida Ayu Nyoman Puspita pada tahun 2025, nilai-nilai sosial modern dibahas dalam penelitian ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mengidentifikasi jenis nilai sosial dalam cerpen tersebut, yang sebelumnya hanya disebutkan secara umum tanpa memeriksa apakah nilai sosial tersebut benar-benar ada dalam cerpen, dan (2) menganalisis bagaimana nilai tersebut berhubungan dengan kehidupan sosial masyarakat modern. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosiologi sastra yang menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Dengan membaca, mencatat, dan mengelompokkan kutipan teks yang relevan, data dikumpulkan melalui studi pustaka. Proses analisis data dilakukan dengan menyederhanakan hasil, menampilkan hasil, dan membuat kesimpulan. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa cerpen Gita Kauripan mengandung tujuh nilai sosial: nilai kepribadian, nilai kebendaan, nilai biologis, nilai kepatuhan hukum, nilai pengetahuan, nilai agama, dan nilai keindahan. Tokoh, dialog, dan jalan cerita menunjukkan prinsip-prinsip tersebut. Selain mengidentifikasi nilai kepribadian, kebendaan, biologis, kepatuhan hukum, pengetahuan, agama, dan keindahan, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai tersebut merepresentasikan dinamika sosial budaya masyarakat Bali kontemporer. Melalui pendekatan sosiologi sastra, cerpen Gita Kauripan dianalisis sebagai refleksi hubungan antara karya sastra dan realitas sosial yang meliputi persoalan identitas budaya, keberlanjutan tradisi, religiusitas, relasi keluarga, serta negosiasi antara nilai lokal dan pengaruh modernitas. Temuan penelitian menegaskan bahwa karya sastra tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai media estetis, tetapi juga sebagai dokumen sosial yang merekam perubahan dan dinamika masyarakat Bali modern.
