Kosakata Ragam Informal dalam Sahabatku Indonesia sebagai Hambatan Budaya dalam Pembelajaran BIPA

Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji jenis dan konteks kosakata ragam informal dalam buku Sahabatku Indonesia BIPA tingkat 5, 6, dan 7, serta menganalisis potensinya sebagai hambatan budaya dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA). Metode analisis konten kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis kosakata informal yang muncul dalam buku tersebut. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi 62 kosakata ragam informal yang muncul dalam konteks percakapan tidak santun, surat pribadi, dan siaran radio anak muda dengan variasi tingkat penjelasan. Kosakata informal tersebut dapat berpotensi menjadi hambatan budaya karena tiga faktor: ketidakjelasan konteks penggunaan, kesulitan membedakan register, dan pengaruh regional yang tidak terlalu dijelaskan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya penanda yang jelas untuk membedakan ragam formal dan informal dan mengembangkan aktivitas pembelajaran yang melatih kompetensi sosiolinguistik. Tambahan pula, dalam memahami perbedaan register, buku ajar diharapkan menggunakan media otentik untuk menunjukkan konteks penggunaan yang tepat.
