Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pragmatik tindak tutur ilokusi dalam video Tempo.co edisi 22 Maret 2025 tentang Revisi UU TNI. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menganalisis transkrip percakapan dari video untuk diidentifikasi jenis-jenis tindak tutur ilokusi yang dominan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya lima jenis tindak tutur ilokusi, yaitu asertif (menyatakan, melaporkan, mengklaim), direktif (memerintah, meminta, menasihati), komisif (berjanji, mengancam, menawarkan), ekspresif (mengucapkan terima kasih, meminta maaf, mengeluh), dan deklaratif (membaptis, menyatakan perang, memberhentikan). Analisis mendalam pada setiap jenis tindak tutur ilokusi dalam konteks perbincangan para tokoh terkait Revisi UU TNI memberikan pemahaman tentang bagaimana bahasa digunakan secara strategis untuk menyampaikan informasi, kritik, sindiran, serta mempengaruhi opini publik terkait isu politik dan hukum yang sensitif ini. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang bagaimana pragmatik tindak tutur ilokusi berperan dalam diskursus publik mengenai isu-isu penting kenegaraan.
