KEANEKARAGAMAN KEPITING BIOLA (Uca SPP.) DI EKOSISTEM MANGROVE TONGKE- TONGKE SINJAI TIMUR KABUPATEN SINJAI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai keanekaragaman kepiting biola (Uca spp.) di kawasan mangrove Tongke-Tongke, Sinjai Timur. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di empat stasiun pengamatan menggunakan pengamatan langsung yang dikombinasikan dengan teknik pengambilan sampel bertujuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya tiga spesies kepiting biola, yaitu Uca rosea, Uca perplexa, dan Uca jocelynae, yang tersebar tidak merata di seluruh stasiun pengamatan. Analisis indeks ekologi menunjukkan keanekaragaman spesies yang rendah di Stasiun I (H' = 1,07) dengan keseragaman yang tinggi (E = 0,97), sedangkan Stasiun II juga menunjukkan keanekaragaman yang rendah (H' = 0,61) tetapi dengan keseragaman yang sedang (E = 0,55). Tidak ditemukan kepiting biola di Stasiun III dan IV, yang terletak di dekat permukiman penduduk dan kawasan ekowisata. Parameter lingkungan yang diukur meliputi suhu (29,96–30,94 °C), pH (7,4–7,5), salinitas (26,5–27,6‰), oksigen terlarut (DO; 5,29–6,0 mg/L), dan jenis substrat mulai dari lempung berpasir hingga lempung liat berpasir. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan kepiting biola dapat berfungsi sebagai bioindikator kesehatan ekosistem mangrove, dengan distribusinya sangat dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik substrat dan kondisi lingkungan, terutama di daerah yang mengalami gangguan antropogenik minimal.
