PENGEMBANGAN PENUNTUN PRAKTIKUM EKOLOGI HEWAN BERBASIS PENEMUAN TERBIMBING

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model 4D. Tahapan yang dilakukan yaitu: 1) pendefinisian, 2) perancangan, 3) pengembangan dan 4) penyebaran. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi penuntun praktikum, angket praktikalitas, angket motivasi, aktivitas, dan hasil belajar dari ranah kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor. Penuntun praktikum diujicoba pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi STKIP Nias Selatan. Melalui analisis data diperoleh data validitas, praktikalitas dan efektivitas. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil validasi menunjukan bahwa penuntun praktikum ekologi hewan berbasis penemuan terbimbing sudah sangat valid dari segi didaktik, konstruksi dan teknis. Berdasarkan analisis data praktikalitas diperoleh bahwa penuntun praktikum berbasis penemuan terbimbing sudah sangat praktis digunakan dalam kegiatan praktikum ekologi hewan. Pada tahap efektivitas diperoleh bahwa penuntun praktikum sudah efektif digunakan pada kegiatan praktikum ekologi hewan karena mampu meningkatkan aktivitas, motivasi dan hasil belajar mahasiswa.
