Teknik hidroponik adalah salah satu metode penanaman sayuran yang paling populer, terutama dalam menghadapi keterbatasan lahan untuk bercocok tanam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perbandingan NPV dan IRR penggunaan Smart System Hidroponik dengan Manual System Hidroponik pada tanaman selada di CV. Malaka Farm Kabupaten Soppeng. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Januari sampai Maret 2025 dan berlokasi di Soppeng. Penentuan jumlah sampel dengan menggunakan metode sampling jenuh. Penelitian melibatkan perhitungan indikator NPV (Net Present Value) adalah mengukur selisih antara nilai saat ini dari arus kas masuk dan arus kas keluar pada periode tertentu, dan IRR adalah Tingkat diskonto yang menghasilkan nilai kini dari arus kas masuk. NPV dan IRR adalah dua teknik finansial untuk mengevaluasi nilai investasi suatu teknologi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa usaha ini membutuhkan biaya investasi yang sangat berbeda, dari segi analisis NPV yang menunjukan hasil hitungan yang positif baik dari smart system hidroponik maupun manual system hidroponik, sedangkan Hasil analisis kelayakan menggnakaan IRR pun menunjukkan bahwa usaha ini layak yaitu 41% besar dari diskon rate yang ditentukan yaitu 10% dan 13%.
The hydroponic technique is one of the most popular methods of growing vegetables, especially in the face of limited land for cultivation. The aim of this research is to find out the comparison of the NPV and IRR of using a Smart Hydroponic System with a Manual Hydroponic System for lettuce plants in CV. Malaka Farm, Soppeng Regency. This research was conducted from January to March 2025 and was located in Soppeng. Determining the number of samples using the saturated sampling method. The research involves calculating the NPV (Net Present Value) indicator which measures the difference between the current value of cash inflows and cash outflows in a certain period, and IRR is the discount rate which produces the present value of cash inflows. NPV and IRR are two financial techniques for evaluating the investment value of a technology. The results of this research show that this business requires very different investment costs, in terms of NPV analysis which shows positive calculation results from both the smart hydroponic system and manual hydroponic system, while the results of the feasibility analysis using IRR also show that this business is feasible, namely 41%. from the specified discount rate, namely 10% and 13%.
