Perubahan Imaji Maskulinitas pada Alih Wahana Novel Dia Angkasa (2021) ke Drama Seri Dia Angkasa (2024)

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis bagaimana perubahan imaji maskulinitas dari novel Dia Angkasa (2021) ke drama seri Dia Angkasa (2024) merepresentasikan kritik terhadap maskulinitas toksik dalam narasi geng motor remaja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan alih wahana menggunakan teori maskulinitas dari Deborah David dan Robert Brannon (1976) yang mencakup empat prinsip utama: No Sissy Stuff, Be a Big Wheel, The Sturdy Oak, dan Give ’Em Hell. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pada novel adanya maskulinitas yang dibentuk melalui intimidasi, dominasi, kekerasan verbal, represi perasaan, serta penyelesaian konflik melalui pertengkaran fisik. Sebaliknya, pada drama seri menampilkan pergeseran imaji maskulinitas yang lebih positif, ditandai dengan sikap peduli, penolakan terhadap perundungan, pengendalian diri dengan tidak besikap kasar, mengekspresikan emosi, keberanian yang diekspresikan melalui pengorbanan, dan penyelesaian konflik melalui jalur hukum. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa alih wahana dapat menjadi sarana untuk merekonstruksi nilai-nilai maskulinitas toksik dalam narasi geng motor remaja yang sering diasosiasikan dengan tindakan-tindakan negetif menuju ke bentuk yang lebih poisitif. Perubahan ini merepresentasikan kritik terhadap maskulinitas dalam geng motor remaja dan menunjukkan bahwa drama seri dapat merekonstruksi nilai-nilai maskulin agar tidak berorientasi pada kekerasan.
