Hambatan Fonologis pada Remaja Tanpa Disleksia dalam Membaca Kata Kompleks: Perspektif Psikolinguistik

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hambatan fonologis yang dialami oleh remaja berusia 13 tahun yang tidak didiagnosis menderita disleksia tetapi kesulitan membaca kata-kata kompleks (≥ lima suku kata). Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi pembacaan, wawancara, dan tes fonologis dasar. Temuan mengungkapkan bahwa subjek mengalami kesulitan dalam segmentasi fonem, pengulangan suara yang kompleks, dan pemrosesan kata-kata panjang yang lambat. Tantangan-tantangan ini menunjukkan kelemahan dalam kesadaran fonologis dan memori fonologis jangka pendek, meskipun sifat disleksia khas seperti pembalikan huruf tidak diamati. Hasilnya mendukung pandangan psikolinguistik bahwa efisiensi pemrosesan fonologis sangat penting dalam membaca, bahkan di antara pembaca non-disleksia. Studi ini merekomendasikan intervensi fonologis lebih lanjut dan penggunaan penilaian fonologis tingkat mikro sebagai bagian dari strategi peningkatan literasi remaja.
