Bentuk Budaya Jawa dalam Film Kartini: Kajian Pragmatik dan Etnografi

Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk budaya Jawa yang ada dalam film Kartini dengan menggunakan kajian pragmatik dan etnografi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian berupa tuturan lisan. Sumber data dalam penelitian yaitu penggalan peristiwa komunikasi antartokoh dalam film Kartini. Teknik pengumpulan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah dokumentasi, simak dan catat. Tahapan untuk analisis adalah (1) peneliti menyimak bahasa lisan fim Kartini tersebut, (2) peneliti memahami makna tuturan lisan yang diujarkan para tokoh, (3) peneliti mengidentifikasi setiap tuturan objek yang diamati dalam film Kartini, (4) peneliti mencatat data yang didapatkan dalam tabel yang sudah disusun sebelumnya untuk mempermudah proses pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan tujuh bentuk budaya Jawa dalam film Kartini berupa aktivitas, silsilah panggilan, sistem kekerabatan dan organisasi sosial, ide, peralatan hidup dan tekhnologi, wujud kebudayaan sebagai system artefak, serta sistem religi. Unsur budaya yang terdapat dalam film Kartini tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai wujud kebudayaan yang sebagian besar harus tetap dilestarikan. Wujud kebudayaan tersebut bersifat penghormatan terhadap orang yang lebih tua, orang yang memiliki kedudukan lebih tingi, maupun kesopanan sosial masyarakat dalam bentuk tuturan maupun tingkah laku.
