Uji Antioksidan Krim Anti-Aging Ekstrak Etanol Daging Buah Matoa (Pometia pinnata)

Buah matoa (Pometia pinnata) merupakan jenis buah asal papua yang banyak digemari karena rasanya yang sangat unik. Kandungan kimia buah matoa yaitu: Flavonoid, Saponin, Tanin dan Alkaloid. Flavonoid yang terbukti berkhasiat sebagai Antioksidan. Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang Formulasi Sediaan Krim Anti-Aging Ekstrak Etanol Buah Matoa (Pometia pinnata) di Laboratorium Farmasi Fakultas Ilmu-Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Sains Dan Teknologi Jayapura. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui formulasi terbaik sediaan krim anti-aging ekstrak etanol buah matoa. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan eksperimental laboratorium. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua tanaman buah matoa yang tumbuh di Wilayah Kampung Netar, Distrik Sentani Timur, Kabupaten Jayapura. Sampel berupa buah matoa sebanyak 1kg dan dimaserasi dengan pelarut etanol 70%. Ekstrak daging buah matoa diformulasikan menjadi sediaan krim anti-aging dengan variasi Span 60 dan Twen 80 pada konsentrasi 3%, 5%, dan 8%. Krim yang diperoleh dievaluasi untuk mendapatkan formulasi terbaik. Hasil pengujian dari ketiga formula didapatkan formula terbaik yaitu formula III dengan konsentrasi Span 60 dan Tween 80 8% memiliki nilai peredaman radikal DPPH sebesar -129,9%.
