STUDI ASOSIASI ALGA DENGAN LICHEN PADA TUMBUHAN PINANG DI TAMAN MARGASATWA RAGUNAN

Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas asosiasi interspesifik antara lumut dan liken yang tumbuh di pohon Areca catechu tertentu di Ragunan, Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian menggunakan kuadrat berukuran 10x10 cm, dengan setiap plot pengamatan berukuran 1x1 cm. Tabel kontingensi dan uji chi-kuadrat menunjukkan adanya asosiasi antara lumut dan liken. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya asosiasi antara lumut dan liken, kemungkinan karena persyaratan lingkungan yang serupa, seperti kelembaban dan intensitas cahaya. Pertumbuhan optimal organisme lichen terkait terjadi di lingkungan yang tidak tercemar, di mana kualitas udara, pH, cahaya, dan kelembaban mendukung pertumbuhan optimal mereka.
