Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif korelasional yang bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran pengetahuan ekosistem dan perubahan lingkungan peserta didik, untuk mengetahui sikap peduli lingkungan peserta didik, dan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan ekosistem dan perubahan lingkungan dengan sikap peduli lingkungan peserta didik. Populasi penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas XI MIA di SMAN 11 Makassar, sedangkan sampel penelitian sebanyak 156 peserta didik yang dipilih secara random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial berupa uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan variabel pengetahuan ekosistem dan perubahan lingkungan berada pada kategori cukup, sedangkan variabel sikap peduli lingkungan berada pada kategori netral. Hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara pengetahuan ekosistem dan perubahan lingkungan dengan sikap peduli lingkungan berdasarkan persamaan garis regresi Y = 75,144 + 0,294X dan taraf signifikansi 5%. Kategori tingkat hubungan “sedang” berdasarkan nilai korelasi (R) sebesar 0,467. Kontribusi pengetahuan ekosistem dan perubahan lingkungan terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan () sebesar 21,8%, sedangkan 78,2% yang tersisa merupakan hasil beberapa faktor lain yang turut berperan dalam menumbuhkan sikap peduli lingkungan.
