Tujuan peneltian untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik yang menggunakan <em>Team Game Tournament</em> (<em>TGT</em>) dan model <em>Problem Based Learning</em> (<em>PBL</em>) pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Penelitian ini termasuk eksperimen semu/<em>quasi exsperimental</em> dengan desain <em>Randomized Control-Group Pretest-Posttest Design</em>. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas eksperimen I (X.7) dengan 35 peserta didik dan kelas eksperimen II (X.2) dengan 37 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes dengan analisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis dengan uji <em>Independent Sample T-Test</em> dan uji <em>Mann-Whitney</em>. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai selisih antara <em>posttest</em> dan <em>pretest</em> yaitu α = 0,05 lebih besar daripada Sig (<em>2-tailed</em>) atau (0,05 &gt; 0,006) Artinya H0 ditolak. This study aims to identify the need for Project Based Learning (PjBL)-based student worksheet's with socioscientific content, which will be developed as teaching materials to support the optimization of biology learning, especially in the material on environmental change and conservation. The method used in this research is qualitative, with a descriptive approach. The subjects used were 35 students of class 10.E7 of State Senior High School number 2 Padang Panjang. Data collection was carried out in three ways, namely observation of the school, surveys of students, and in-depth interviews with teachers. The instruments used are questionnaires and interview sheets.&nbsp; Through data collection, the results showed that Project-based learning has been implemented. However, there is no student worksheet with a project-based learning model with socioscientific content, especially on the material of environmental change and preservation. In its implementation, this research used a quasi-experimental method. There are two classes used, namely the control class and the experimental class, namely XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 which were obtained using the cluster random sampling technique. The experimental class uses a reciprocal teaching learning model and the control class uses a direct instruction learning model. The instruments used in this research were tests and questionnaires. The test instrument is to measure students' HOTS, while the questionnaire instrument is to measure students' self-confidence. The purpose of this study was to isolate and characterize marine bacteria. The results showed that there were 6 isolates of marine bacteria obtained, namely isolates PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, PS5, PS6. Macroscopic characterization observations obtained colony shape, elevation shape and shape of the most dominant edges are irregularly shaped, convex and flat. Hospital waste water is an accumulation of domestic waste and liquid biomedical waste with high levels of organic pollutants, so it can be treated biologically. Liquid biomedical waste contains many microorganisms where the presence of microorganisms, in this case bacteria, can be used as an indicator of waste management and unfavorable environmental conditions. One waste water treatment technology that is safe for the environment is using bacteria that have the potential to act as decomposers in the biodegradation process. To obtain bacteria that have the potential to act as natural decomposers, you can isolate the waste itself. The bacteria found in liquid biomedical waste make it possible to find a group of non-pathogenic hydrolytic bacteria where this group of bacteria can produce various enzymes that are capable of degrading liquid biomedical waste. Gram staining is a method to differentiate between types or spesies of bacteria namely gram-positive bacteria and gram-negative bacteria. The aim of this study was to identify bacteria using Ziehl Neelsen gram staining. Developing booklets can be one of the effective and efficient learning media to attract students' interest and motivation in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of students' scientific argumentation ability on environmental change material with a descriptive research type. The sample used was 160 students who were taken using purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was in the form of five essay questions. Data analysis techniques were scoring, determining values ​​and determining the level of scientific argumentation. Of the 160 samples, there were 140 students whose scientific argumentation ability was categorized as sufficient and 20 students were categorized as weak. This research aims to determine the potential and effectiveness of green tea plant (Camellia sinensis) leaf extract in inhibiting the growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis strain H37Rv bacteria using the LJ (Lowenstein-Jensen) method in vitro. The research samples used were green tea plant leaves (Camellia sinensis) obtained from the Malino Village Tea Plantation, Tinggi Moncong Regency, Gowa District, South Sulawesi. The leaf extract was made in 4 types of concentrations, namely 10, 20, 50 and 100 µg/ml, each of which was tested against the clinical isolate of Mycobacterium tuberculosis strain H37Rv using the LJ (Lowenstein-Jensen) method as the standard for tuberculosis examination. Of the four extracts tested in vitro, only extract concentrations of 50 and 100 µg/ml were able to very strongly inhibit and kill the growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis strain H37Rv (inhibition percentage of 100%), not a single bacterial colony growth was found during the observation period. The percentage of inhibition of green tea plant leaves (Camellia sinensis) is the same as the percentage of inhibition of the drug rifampicin. Tree species diversity comprises 13 families, encompassing 23 different tree species. Families with the highest number of individuals are Fabaceae, Arecaceae, and Euphorbiaceae. Buah manggis merupakan jenis tanaman obat yang dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat untuk pengobatan tradisional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan aktivitas antibakteri air rebusan kulit buah manggis (<em>Garcinia mangostana</em>&nbsp;L.) terhadap <em>Staphylococcus aureus</em>&nbsp;dengan variasi konsentrasi air rebusan kulit buah manggis. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kulit buah Manggis yang dikeringkan kemudian dibuat rebusan dengan konsentrasi 10 % b/v, 20 % b/v, 30 % b/v. Hasil uji daya hambat menunjukkan zona hambat rata-rata untuk konsentrasi 10 % b/v sebesar 20,00 mm, konsentrasi 20 % b/v 20,00 mm, konsentrasi 30 % b/v 20,00 mm. Hasil penelititian menujukkan air rebusan kulit buah manggis dengan konsentrasi &nbsp;30 % memiliki diameter zona hambat tertinggi sebesar 20,00 mm. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa rebusan kulit buah manggis memiliki aktivitas dalam menghambat pertumbuhan <em>Staphylococcus aureus</em>.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Mangosteen rind (<em>Garcinia mangostana</em>&nbsp;L.) contains xanthone compounds which are polyphenol compounds that have antibacterial properties. Mangosteen is a type of medicinal plant that can be used by the community for traditional medicine. The purpose of this study was to determine the antibacterial activity of boiled mangosteen rind water (<em>Garcinia mangostana</em>&nbsp;L.) against <em>Staphylococcus aureus</em>&nbsp;with variations in the concentration of boiled mangosteen rind water. The method used in this study was dried mangosteen rind then made into a decoction with a concentration of 10% b/v, 20% b/v, 30% b/v. The results of the inhibition test showed an average inhibition zone for a concentration of 10% b/v of 20.00 mm, a concentration of 20% b/v 20.00 mm, a concentration of 30% b/v 20.00 mm. The results of the study showed that boiled mangosteen peel water with a concentration of 30% had the highest inhibition zone diameter of 20.00 mm. This research was carried out at the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Cokroaminoto Palopo University, Jalan Lamaranginang, Batupasi Village, North Wara District, Palopo City, in the month March to May 2022. This research method uses a Randomized Block Design (RAK) consisting of 6 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment with P0= control, P1= 100 gr cow manure, P2= 200 gr cow manure, P3= 300 gr cow manure, P4= 400 gr cow manure, P5= 500 gr cow manure gr. The results of this study showed that the application of cow dung manure and straw mulch showed the best results in treatment P5 with the highest parameters in plant height with an average of 59.45 cm, number of leaves with an average of 263, flowering age with an average of 41. .25 days, the number of pods was an average of 80.75 pods, and the weight of the pods was an average of 226.25 grams at a treatment dose of 500 grams of cow dung manure and 1 kg of straw mulch. Based on the research results obtained, it can be concluded that the application of cow dung manure has a significant effect on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, flowering age, number of pods and pod weight. Melalui metode survei deskriptif, 57 mahasiswa program studi pendidikan biologi padasalah satu Univesitas Swasta di Wajo Sulawesi Selatan dilibatkan untuk memberikan pandangan mereka terkait pembelajaran berbasis teknologi ini. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa seluruh mahasiswa (100%) pernah menyaksikan prosesi pernikahan adat Bugis, dan mereka menyadari pentingnya penggunaan tumbuhan dalam acara tersebut. Sebagian besar responden (90%) tertarik dengan pembelajaran berbasis e-modul, terutama yang mengintegrasikan teknologi digital seperti ilustrasi interaktif, video pendek, dan <em>Augmented Reality</em> (AR), yang dinilai sangat membantu dalam memahami materi keanekaragaman tumbuhan. Selain itu, 95% mahasiswa menilai bahwa teknologi digital sangat berperan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mereka terhadap etnobotani, terutama dengan adanya fitur-fitur yang memperkaya visualisasi materi. Saran yang diberikan mahasiswa mencakup kejelasan konten, relevansi materi, dan aktivitas partisipatif dalam e-modul untuk meningkatkan pengalaman belajar. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a descriptive quantitative approach, involving 36 students from class XI MIPA 2. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation. The results show that in the pre-cycle phase, the average cognitive score was 71.38, with 83% of students not meeting the Minimum Competency Criteria (KKM) of 78, and 17% meeting the KKM. The average affective score was 54, with 89% of students not meeting the KKM. In Cycle I, the average cognitive score increased to 80.13, with 64% of students meeting the KKM. In Cycle II, the average posttest cognitive score reached 94.16, with 94% of students meeting the KKM, and the average affective score rose to 91. This research is classified as development research using the 4D model, with trials on 20 students in class XI – A SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa. The results of the research show that: (1) The validity test of digital comic media based on percentages obtained a score of 96.35% (Very valid), and the material validity test based on percentages obtained a score of 97.91% (Very valid), (2) The practicality test consisted of from the implementation of learning, student responses and teacher responses. Nur Akbar <p>This study is an experimental study aimed at determining the use of crossword puzzle media in enhancing student learning outcomes in the learning material of the human respiratory system for class XI IPA 3 students at SMA Negeri 4&nbsp; Kota Gorontalo. This study employed a descriptive statistical quantitative method using a one-group design pre-test and post-test. The population consisted of class XI IPA 3 students at SMA Negeri 4 Kota Gorontalo, totaling 30 students. Data collection techniques included interview and tests. The findings are as follows: based on the data analysis, it is evident thet there is an enhancement in student learning outcomes for class XI IPA 3 students at SMA Negeri 4 Kota Gorontalo. Furtheremore, based on the descriptive study, it indicates that the average student learning outcomes before the use of crossword puzzles media.<em> Moreover, based on statistical analysis of student learning outcomes, it obtains a t-count value of 0,027 with a significant level of 0,05, hence 0,027 &gt; 0,05. Learning media can support the learning process and function as well as possible. Student Worksheets are one type of effective learning resource. Designing LKPD using the Prolem Based Learning (PBL) model integrated into it is one way to inspire students to be actively involved in biology learning. The LKPD produced with an emphasis on problem solving is a LKPD that can be used in learning. Through a study of various journal papers that are related to each other and published between 2016 and 2024, this research uses descriptive research in the form of a literature review. Referenced papers are published in Indonesian and English and can be found in a number of media databases, including Google Scholar and Science Direct. PBL integrated worksheet has an impact on the teaching and learning process, according to the findings of the article review, because it helps students become aware of the dangers of the environment around them.
